WILD BOAR DRIVEN HUNT

Favia’s team organizes wild boar driven hunt in areas where the concentration of wild boar is very high in order to guarantee a significant number of wild boars to hunt. Three driven hunts are organized daily. Each hunter has his personal assistant who will point out the animals to shoot. It is easy to get a gold medal trophy in a driven hunt. We propose individual wild boar driven hunt and for groups of 12 – 15 hunters. The best period is November – December.

Short interview with Ferruccio Albertoni for partridge hunting in Bulgaria

We are very grateful to our friend Ferruccio Albertoni for this short interview and professional point of view. Ferruccio is editor of “The Hunt”, official issue of the Federation of Ticino Hunters in Switzerland.

Ferruccio, you have already come with us for woodcock hunting in Bulgaria. But for partridges this is your first time here. What are your impressions from partridges hunt in Bulgaria?

My observation is that the partridges have found their living habitat here despite of the predation. The main reason for their great numbers here is the absence of aggressive agriculture and the existence of uncultivated areas ideal for partridges. This is their suitable environment. These environmental conditions are found in very few places in Europe nowadays.

Where else have you hunted partridges?

In former Yugoslavia, Poland, Mongolia.

How do you find the training and collection of partridges here?

The wild partridge remains one of the species most suitable for training. And the collection can be measured to 5 partridges a day which is considered pretty good.
