The most common type of wild duck in Bulgaria is the Mallard. Other species of ducks you can hunt include the Northern Shoveler, Garganey and Eurasean Teal.
This year’s woodcock season was amazing, and we just can’t wait for the next one! It’s never too early to prepare. Woodcock hunting trip reservations for the winter of 2016 have already started coming in. Are you as excited as we are?
The end of January is one of the best times of the season for duck hunting!
The period between the 20-th and 30-th of January this year was very successful for duck hunters in Bulgaria, due to the high number of migrating birds flying over the length of the Danube river.
This area is also the home to a large population of wild pheasants. Combining the two types of hunt makes for an exciting hunting experience!
2015-2016 has been amazing so far. Hunters have been coming back again and again – some of them as many as three times! – because of the huge number of woodcocks in our hunting areas.
