The most common trophies in Bulgaria are between 8 and 10 kg. Red deers with even bigger trophies of 10-13 kg can also be found. The best period for Red Deer hunting is from 15^th September to 10^th October, during their breeding when the hunt is the most interesting. It is also possible to hunt red deer to the end of January. It is hunted during the morning and evening with a combination of stalking and from a high seat.
